When should i start dress shopping？

I just got my dress today and had to get ready and try it on! I will need some alterations but that was my own fault for losing weight after ordering. This is absolutely the most beautiful dress ever! The tulle is soft and its very comfortable. I found this dress and fell in love with it, i went dress shopping in a dress shop and found a dress worth 2000 but i still had my heart set on this one.im so blown away by the quality of the dress! Highly recommend!
